Looks like it didn’t read the “wet paint” sign…
Sorry, that one was my fault. He escaped before I was done painting the summer colors on him, and he refuses to come back in to be finished.
And here I thought he was just assisting the highway line painters again.
I keep letting wildflowers grow in my yard in the hopes of attracting goldfinches but so far…
Busterggi, they’ll show for mass quantities of sunflower seeds or thistles.
Actually the yellow isn’t that far from the yellow colour of road maintenance machines. And that kind of gray could be found on dry, water-bound macadam road surfaces, where the dust has been bound with water and salts to a greyish clay-like smooth surface.
So it’s camouflage, because visible road-surface season? :)
All the best bank robbers wear hi-vis these days, helps them blend in.
