Okay, having a moment to go through this list, I watched Bobby Yeah, which I hadn’t heard of, being under my rock. It’s wildly creative, and I recommend it, but if you are at work, maybe save it for later, the film is a more than a bit, uh, fappy in nature. Oh, and watch full screen if you can. It’s also on youtube, if you have trouble with Vimeo.

Ooh, I’ll have to watch that. Robert Morgan’s “D is for Deloused” is the best short from “ABC’s of Death 2,” as well as one of the creepiest (the entire film is worth a watch, if you can stomach horror, though I’d personally recommend skipping the letter “V”). There’s just something so disturbingly fleshy about his models.

“V” was pretty much a “greatest hits of what I hate about horror films,” crammed into 2 deeply unpleasant minutes. The gross misogyny, the unlikable and dimwitted protagonists, the evil furriners, all wrapped up in a found footage style format. Though, to be fair, the found footage part was the most tolerable part of the short.
I will admit that it’s possible I simply missed the point of it, but “V” just seemed exploitative and gross to me.
On the other hand I loved “A” and “O” (although “D” is still my favorite). I’d probably add “Z” to the love-list too, but the name bugs me a bit. It would have made a better “P,” though the actual “P” was kind of charming in its own way.
