Survival Mode.

Seems that everyone in the White House is close to panic, and in survival mode. Perhaps we should all be in survival mode, too.

The past several days have been tumultuous for the Trump White House, and administration sources are now leaking information about the mood of panic that’s emanating from the West Wing.

Sources tell Axios’s Mike Allen that the White House at the moment is in a state of “borderline chaos” and that “some staff is in survival mode” and is “scared to death” by what’s about to happen.

A “West Wing confidant,” meanwhile, tells Allen that it looks like “nobody is in charge” at the White House at the moment, and that the scandal surrounding fired National Security Adviser Michael Flynn shows the Trump administration is either “reckless” or simply has “total incompetence.”

On Tuesday evening, both the New York Times and CNN reported that senior Trump campaign officials were in constant contact with Russian intelligence officers during the 2016 presidential race.

Here’s hoping the current mess is one the repubs will not be able to ignore and handwave away. Full story here.

Also see: I was hoping you could tell me what the fuck is going on over there.

Republicans were quick to say, “Move along. Nothing to see here.”

    Then, “Benghazi!!! Hillary’s emails!!!”

Yep. I can’t say this clusterfuck is at all surprising, but I am wondering just how far repubs are going to go, in pretending nothing at all is wrong.

It looks to me like the FBI did more to throw the election to Trump than the Russians. When a country’s secret police are playing kingmaker, a military coup or palace coup is not far off.

Current stories are saying the intels want to get rid of Trump, stat, and Russia is all worried about Trump being ousted or killed, because of the backlash that would happen. Other people are saying this won’t be enough for repubs to get rid of the idiot.

Exactly who did what when is hardly clear, and at this point, I don’t think it matters. Whoever put that fucking moron in office needs to deal with resultant clusterfuck.

Now, I know not to expect a Republican to have anything like decency, but are there at least some left with a brain and some sense of self-preservation?
Sure, you can go on saying “everything is fine”, but at some point you know it’s not. Question is, are you going to dance in the ballroom while the Titanic sinks because you finally get all the champagne or do you leave the ship?
