I have no idea why my neighbour has a piece of birchwood (I first thought it was a tin) sitting on her garden bench, but I liked it so much I had to take a pic. The dreaminess is partly because I had to hold some shrubbery aside, but some of it still got in the way, but so much out of focus that it’s actually acting as a natural softener.
The last one is dreamy.
I got a photo of the Harbinger of 2017, as appearing in fireworks, on NYE. Not a happy face. :)
