Told myself “no play until you get the house in shape.” Yeah, well, I’m weak. Just could not wait one more moment. Now I’ll put it all away and be good. I love the smell of oil paint.
It’s gorgeous! I’m glad you succumbed to artistic urge.

I should also be cleaning but instead am doing bird drawings with my new pigment markers.

“All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” For me it is good to set goals in order not to fall prey to procrastination. But among those goals has to be time to relax and do things just for fun.
Nice picture, but I get somewhat ominous feeling from it.

Lots of drama and opposing themes in there, yet it lacks the tension of conflict, for all its darkness. ♥

I see black oil flowing over blue waters with flames at the interface. A bad dream made visible.
Thank you all, you’re are all so kind! If there’s decent light out today, I’ll try to get a better shot. (Anything to avoid cleaning.)
Did another one last night, but I haven’t decided if I like it or not.

Gobi’s, you can always email me stuff (see sidebar), and I’ll post it here. (Hint, hint, hint.) :D
This photo makes the painting more dramatic than the better photo.
