Awwww, look, all the little nazis want to have a ball (I keep picturing them in Southern Belle type ball gowns), but they are fighting amongst themselves so much, it’s interfering with all their happy ball plans.
Alt-right leader Mike Cernovich, who is organizing the Deploraball, started a massive fight this week after he told popular alt-right Twitter personality @bakedalaska that he couldn’t attend the party if he was going to do Nazi salutes of the kind that white nationalist Richard Spencer encouraged during his talk at the National Policy Institute conference earlier this month.
@bakedalaska quickly took his grievances with Cernovich online to his 131,000 followers.
Let’s call these racist assholes what they are, shall we? White supremacist nazis. Well, wannabe nazis. Some of them don’t want to be overt however, they want to be undercover nazis. You can see the relevant tweets at the link.
@bakedalaska’s fan base quickly rallied to his side — and one of them even showed his support by burning a copy of Cernovich’s book in protest.
The neo-Nazis at The Daily Stormer quickly got involved and declared that Cernovich was a member of the “cuck/kike contingent of the Trump movement” who had “banned… heroes such as Richard Spencer and Sam Hyde” from attending the inauguration ball, while still inviting “Alt-Light figures attempting to kike-over the Alt-Right by making it non-racist and accepting of Jews.”
Tsk. I’m sure all of us rabid hordes of attacking parasites we now call activist progressives are about to dissolve into tears over the infighting. Yep, any second now, I’m sure.

More on nazi infighting (albeit different context), ‘Alt-right’ groups will ‘revolt’ if Trump shuns white supremacy, leaders say:

I see a potential division between the cuck haters and the jew haters. Gotta prioritize who you hate. Splitters!

the movement’s own intellectual leaders.
It’s the blind leading the lame.

Wait, didn’t the neo nazis already figure out that Ivana’s married to, you know, one of them? And that Trump’s policy is going to be pro-israel? Did they think, you know, at all?

Marcus @ 3, I keep trying to figure that out myself -- I brought that up in the Hanukkah tweet post. Of course they have to know, but they keep imposing a big ass mental block, that’s all I can come up with.

They could, collectively, be as dumb as a bag of rocks. But they’re able to learn how to goose-step and that takes a certain amount of brain-power and coordination. I’m beat. I don’t get it.

Blf @ 1 -- I read that earlier today. Can’t say I’m displeased with all the divisions among them.

Rote training. As Ye Pfffft! of All Knowledge says, “By definition, rote learning eschews comprehension, so by itself it is an ineffective tool in mastering any complex subject […]”.
This is not entirely a snark: I actually do suspect mindless repetition, plus a presumed-profound tendency to follow orders (is there a word for that?), are parts of the answer. Previous examples suggest the “leader” has to be charismatic and über(?)-ruthless — paranoid and prone to conspiratorial thinking — rather than intelligent, thoughtful, and various other qualities usually considered desirable in positions of responsibility and authority.

It’s part of military indoctrination; it’s there for a reason.
Altemeyer’s authoritarianism index touches on fondness for repetition and group activity. But it comes down to chicken or egg.

Is there any way that we can encourage more of this? Hopefully, these shitbricks will be so distracted by infighting that they won’t be able to get anything meaningful done.

Well, there’s also this:
People insisting on milquetoast “both sides” are gonna be the death of us.

Well, there are unethical tactics, like false news, trolling, and statements that are too categorical.
There are illegal tactics, such as murder.
There are immoral tactics, such as bigotry and torture.
Those sorts of things — and undoubtedly others — are things not to encourage or try.
One thing known to work, and which is clearly none of the above, is sunlight: “Publicity is justly commended as a remedy for social and industrial diseases. Sunlight is said to be the best of disinfectants; electric light the most efficient policeman.” –Supreme Court justice Louis Brandeis.
Report what the different groups of nutters are saying and doing. (Spies / insiders are potentially very helpful here, as are leaks.) Dissemination might be a problem due to the closed loop problem. Verification (fact-checking a leak, e.g.) — which is incredibly important — can also be a problem.
Humour and mockery has a good reputation.
Protest — both the serious type, and the “dress like a pirate” type (see humour and mockery) — is quite important.
More broadly, there is no magic bullet, nor any single “feature”, but a wide spectrum of stooopidity and nazis — to protest, to mock, to illuminate, and so on. (The presumably-helpful infighting is one such “feature”.)
There will be (already is) infighting on the other side, and other problems, not to mention the nazis will, can, and do use unethical, illegal, and immoral (counter-)tactics.

Is it just me? Or is the Donald tracking to become a massive, epic, failure and disappointment to everyone who voted for him that wasn’t rich. ,
He starts with a disapproval rating higher than the exit ratings of some world class failures.
And now they are finding out that: He isn’t going to deport 11 million illegals. He isn’t going to build a massive wall. The coal miners aren’t going to get their jobs back. The poor and unemployed in flyover country are about to find out that THEY are the moochers and welfare queens. The shine is already coming off and he hasn’t been sworn in yet.
This is one of the problems with BS. You can talk a good story but, eventually, you have to produce. Previously The Donald has been able to fail upward and avoid consequences. At POTUS there is nowhere to go. At the top there is nothing but a whole lot of down.
I look at recent pictures of Trump and he looks tired to me. Nobody really thinks the medical certification was anything but a joke. Massively overweight and reluctant to exercise I can only speculate what his arteries look like. And if his body doesn’t betray him his followers might. He is pissing off people who worship guns, have violent tendencies, and a tendency to talk about ‘second amendment solutions’.
Already I’m hearing talk about how liberals are bad, but we don’t suck up and then betray people after the votes have been cast. the term ‘snake-in-the-grass’ was used. It was shocking to find out I was considered the ‘honest opposition’. The people who talk about “cucks” have been cucked and it stings something fierce.
It looks like the Trump staff thinks of this as a minor PR problem. The alt-right folks are, essentially, still fighting the civil war after 150 years. They are sensitive to betrayal and hold grudges for a very long time.
How big of a crater can The Donald leave?
