The colour of the berries in the last is wonderful.
My fave is the first one. That’s a perfect photo.
Actually, that day, I wanted to shoot birds. Photographically. It’s at one of the locations where I taught over the last months. I always had great fun watching all the birds during my breaks so one day I brought the camera. Needless to say, it was the one day the birds didn’t cooperate…

I have no idea what those are. I was completely surprised and fascinated by their colour.
The first is very Japanese-inspired, also my favourite.
I am at a loss. The pictures are of course beautiful and I appreciate them for that. But apart from their aesthetic value they woke the former/dormant biologist in me.
I recognized the first one as sweetgum Liquidambar styraciflua, although I had to consult my library for its correct name. But it took my only a few seconds because I knew exactly where to look. The second one is of course european holy Ilex aquifolium. The third one looks like jelly ear Auricularia auricula-judae which means the stump is probably (but not necessarily) from some elder, either Sambucus nigra or Sambucus racemosa.
But I am completely at a loss as what the hell is on the last picture. And now it bugs me.
As for the purple berries, I would say either nightshade (unlikely) or a species of wild grape (judging from the vine-like stem, more likely).

I think I found it! Probably Callicarpa . No wonder I did not know it. I have never heard of it befor and it is not in my books. It would probably freeze around here (well, maybe not last five years, but definitively around my studies).
Google be praised. I do not know how I managed without it.
They look like grapes to me too, that was my first thought.

Beautyberry, a very apt name. When (if) snow falls, those berries will shine like a beacon.
Escaped from someone’s garden, no doubt. And if you can make wine from them, that’s close enough to grapes for me. ;)

It’s actually a little park behind the main building. My soon to be former employer is a social company that helps long time unemployed people and young people without much chance to gain a foot on the employment market* and one area is gardening and landscaping.
*It’s not without irony that I work for SJW Central (our ethics explicitly include anti-racism, anti-semitism and feminism), a company that has probably done more for straight white boys than all MRAs on planet earth combined.
