Oct 14, 2016 — Winter is approaching fast here in North Dakota – and we’re not going anywhere. Dakota Access may think that they can simply wait us out, but we are here for the long haul.
That being said, we need supplies and support to survive here at camp. Dakota winters are no joke! We have created an Amazon wishlist with all sorts of gear for sleeping, staying warm, lighting our camp, and organizing our group. We’re hoping for tents, lanterns, phones for communicating between groups, and more. Take a look and see if there’s anything you can purchase and send to help us out: http://amzn.to/2dLiG1G
Thank you as always for your generosity!
Anna, Bobbi, and the Oceti Sakowin Youth.
Via Change.org. I will add my thank you thank you thank you to anyone who can help out. As usual, I’ll say that you don’t need money to help – spreading the word and signal boosting is incredibly important, so if you’re a social media person, please, pass this on, with all my gratitude.

I sent a pair of boots and gloves. I hope they help. I have a similar pair of Columbia boots and they’re hella warm. But, I tried to send one of the Mens Timberland boots and it told me it couldn’t ship to that address. I’m not sure what’s up with that, but they should look into it. I’m sure it’s nothing nefarious, but I’m sure whoever needed those boots would want it to be as easy as possible for people to send them.

If the store you buy from says it can’t ship to Standing Rock, one option would be to have ’em ship to your address, and then you send the goodies to Standing Rock yourself. Yes, it’s a bit of a pain, and yes, it’s needlessly more expensive, but it should do the job.

The address for the wishlist is kept private. So, I’m not sure how I could get them to their intended location. I’m sure I’m not the only person to run into this problem, so hopefully they’re aware of it and are making the necessary corrections.

I have repeatedly posted the mailing address. The address is also on the Sacred Stone Camp go fund me page, and all the people on twitter, whom I link to repeatedly also post it on a regular basis. Here it is again:
For those of you who have things to send, this is where:

Just spent some money on stuff from the wishlist at Amazon.com: One of those “Laundry POD” things, and three sets of “Tent Tools Snow Dune — Sand and Snow Anchors”. I’m thinking everybody and their brother will go for warm clothes, because DAKOTA WINTER, but other stuff might be overlooked by people who are tryna help out, so… [shrug]

The Amazon wishlist is a good idea, thanks for the post. Being in NorCal, “winter” means something different. :-)
I’m adding this to my post-paycheck list of things to take care of this week.

Thanks for the address. I’m going to include it when I tell people about the list. I’m not on Twitter and pretty much out of the loop for all things. So, that link was the only contact I knew about. But, according to Amazon the boots shipped today (will get there Thursday) and the gloves will get there Friday so all’s well that (potentially) ends well.

I was looking at that Laundry thing, it looked useful to a bunch of people who will probably be in close quarters for a while. Glad to see somebody’s sending one.
