You distilled Eurasian components from American ingredients! Or so it looks when seen from Europe. Is there an Indigenous pattern or shape similar to this?
Here in Finland, white, silver and gold heraldic roses are used extensively (I’d guess it’s hardly unique), there is the Order of White Rose, a national order of merit, the Coat of Arms of Finland contains silver roses in addition to the lion and Army and Air Force officer ranks from 2nd lieutenant to colonel (generals have lions, corporals and sergeants have thin and fat chevrons) are indicated mainly with gold roses. Not really. The closest I can think of would be the Lakota morning star, a design which is quilted now rather than painted on hide. It’s 8-pointed, though.

The Lakota morning star looks a lot like what Latvians call auseklis -- which is a name for the morning star. :D
The second picture reminded me a lot of stained glass. So something extraordinary out of the ordinary. :)
