THIS guy is sitting as a judge on child abuse cases?

If you haven’t seen the sickening video of Judge William Adams beating the living shit out of his disabled daughter, I’ve placed it below the fold. Fair warning, it will make you ill. What’s incomprehensible isn’t just that this nut is a sitting state Judge who has presided over child abuse cases. What’s amazing is the Texas DA whining that the sick perp can’t be prosecuted because the statute of limitations has passed for 16 year-olds. According to a legal expert on MSNBC, the statute has not passed for younger children, and the victim and her mother have both stated this was a pervasive pattern of violence that went on for years before and after 2004 when the video was shot. If so, how could a DA not know that and why aren’t they investigating it right now?

I’d be satisfied with his removal from the bench. Let the bastard figure out another way to make a living where he isn’t lording it over other people for his own sense of power.

Releasing the video now when she should have done it at the time it happened is one thing, and her dad’s story is another thing. But nothing whatsoever over rides his beating of her, and that is where the focus should remain. Well that and if he should ever judge again. He is obviously in total denial when he says that it looked worse than it actually was. If she had turned him in at the time it happened, he would possibly still be in jail, and unfortunately in protective care, with no Big Bubba as a cellmate/ special friend.

Reminding me of Dennis Hopper in Blue Velvet or Dwight Yoakam in Sling Blade is not a good thing for a sitting judge. Even capital punishment happy Texas has to think twice about letting this man sit in judgement of others.

I’m sure exactly that kind of behavior is happening behind closed doors in many homes around the country, especially Texas. (My dad from was from Texas, and my brother and I understood what “The Belt” meant.) This is a great example of where access to a bit of technology by someone otherwise in a position of weakness can have a profound effect on society. I applaud young Ms Adams for releasing this video and exposing such behavior and allowing the greater society to learn from it.

This guy lives just two or three hours away from me. I have resisted the urge pay him a personal visit. Got his dox and sent him a few (non-threatening) postcards.

Whatever happens he should be doxed for life.
