This recent bit of news had me asking myself some rather strange questions, once I accepted (arguendo) one of the hidden premises, namely ensoulment.
I stumbled across this on the internets, forwarded it around to a few of my knife-making buddies, and everyone had a good laugh and a snark and then got quiet. The only way to deal with it is to assume it’s a set-up.
This is from the January 1908 Journal of the American Medical Association. I stumbled across this reference when I was looking to see whether AMA had supported the eugenics movement, or not.

This crossed my radar screen sensor fusion network thanks to the folks at TWIV. What does it have to do with virology? Nothing!
When I came up with the name “stderr” for this blog, I was thinking about the way that the error-stream is unbuffered; that means that things come out in the order that they are printed, sort of like how I speak/write: blah blah blah unfiltered and there’s no “pause” button.
I made a mistake, the other day. (“what, one?” I hear you mentally snark)
Update: The DVDs are spoken for; they are going to corrupt some youth!
I’m not sure if this is particularly funny anymore, but it was when I shot it.
