Mitchell and Webb are the source of the fantastic “Are we the baddies?” sketch. But this one seems a bit more appropriate for the pandemic billionaire era.
I’m pretty sure everyone makes that joke, when they are talking about a boring bar.
Someone over at PZ’s, in a comment, mentioned “confederate flag toilet paper.”
The surveillance state has done a great job of conditioning our social response to what amounts to a massive violation of the constitution. Of course nobody cares. The information has been dropped in a way that nobody really understands it, and that is quite deliberate.
When I was in 9th grade, I was propagandized, and I don’t mind.
