@txpiper:
Your quibbling is not appreciated. I did not ask for a freelance correcter-of-all-things, did I?

I think the owner has been consuming a few too many crispy caps. Maybe if he added some Nazi symbols and a fasces the troll from Texas might catch the violent authoritarianism inherent in fascist ideologies.
On the fascism thing, context matters. One can deduce the opinions of a person if one has a sufficiently versed in the local political landscape, and political rhetoric and signifiers.
One of the nice things about our big, layered brains, is that we’re able to extrapolate likely facts based on confirmed facts.
Specifically, I think the question is designed to obscure that larger picture with quibbling about definitions.
I think we can also deduce things about people who do that, based on the tactic, the reason they’re using it, and the broader context of other things they’ve said.

Also, blog postings should be allowed to contain a bit of hyperbole or even sloppy use of language. I’m really fucking sick of the Self-Appointed Guardians of Correctness On The Internet and Freelance Fact-Checkers who have decided to ply their unasked-for services, here. They should find someplace where they are appreciated, if they can.

What do you mean? How is ‘Get Crispy, Stay Crispy’ not comedy gold?
Like… I actually don’t get it. Please explain. It’s not even a pun.
To be honest, If there is a pun to be had here, I don’t get it at all.
(English is a second language for me. What am I missing?)
The funniest thing here is: No Masks allowed! (It’s funny only because dead pople are a joke, right? Right?! Wait, what’s the joke, again?)

I can understand not appreciating some of the sentiments expressed on the door, but I don’t see technical fascism involved.

You’re all about the technicalities, aren’t you?

Marcus Ranum,
“You’re all about the technicalities, aren’t you?”

Of course. Specifics count if you’re trying to shoot the cap off of a bottle.
