They are already on the next iteration of the theory. Now with added sovereign citizen wingnuttery. There hasn’t been a true president of the US since Grant, Trump will be the 19th one after he recreates the true and original US that ended in 1871 when he gets inaugurated on March 4th.
There is nothing that disprove conspiracist thinking, because all evidence countering the conspiracy is interpreted as evidence that the conspiracy is being buried…which would only happen if it was true.

The first rule of conspiracy theory is that it isn’t conspiracy theory.
There is much overlap with the evangelical end times crowd, you are not taken seriously until several of your “predictions” have passed their best before date.

For the sovereign citizens the start point is the creation of the area, in 1871, which is now the district of Columbia. Just reading up on that form of wingnuttery caused me to lose several points of IQ. There is no USA because they USED ALL CAPITALS in some parts of setting up the creation of Washington, D.C. is the least of their crimes against sanity.
