Bill Maher says that we should be grateful to Donald Trump because his candidacy has sidelined the nauseating piety that seemed obligatory in past elections because the evangelicals have sold their souls to Donald Trump, someone who violates all the things they supposedly hold dear as ‘people of faith’.
So true.
BUT: Will we (I include myself, an European, into those who have to face the outcome of US elections) be able to handle heightened violence???
