Stephen Colbert describes how a device called Vapshot works. It is aimed at people who feel that the normal way of drinking alcohol takes too long to get them high. So this device vaporizes the alcohol so that it gets into the lungs and bloodstream almost immediately.

Ya know, if I was going to inhale something into my lungs for a quick high, it wouldn’t be alcohol. Just sayin’.
I’m with Chiroptera except change the “if” to “when”.
I once put cheap tequila in the bowl of a hookah hoping for the same results. Ah, youthful folly.
Why spend $800 on a box, when I can spend maybe $20 on a bike pump, a cork, and a plastic bottle, and spend the remaining $780 on alcohol?

Warning: PLEASE DON’T DO THIS! And I say that as a vaper… of nicotine, and, when I can afford to, the occasional medicinal marijuana (yes, I live in Florida, and no, it’s not legal, but it helps me sleep and calms my anxiety; so shut up :p ). Please don’t vape alcohol. It’s an absolutely terrible idea.

LOL. That must’ve been hilarious -- to watch. I imagine it wasn’t a lot of fun for you.
But it’s the getting drunk that’s the fun bit… Actually being drunk is rubbish.
Why rush it?
The fun is in the journey not so much the destination even if I have arrived there, (Many, many many x many more x .an’ ’bout now.)
How long before someone figures out how to add alcohol vapor to the theatrical fog machine it a dance party so all the kids get knee-walking drunk, in a bout five minutes. Just what the world needs, a new and better way of making date rape and child molestation more efficient.
Presumably nobody is stupid enough to be near this with a lit cigarette. I mean, the odds of finding a group of intoxicated people who also smoke must be very low. Right?
@lorn
Huh. Now that you mention it, adding grain alcohol to PG/VG mix might well work at that. It’d be a hell of a fire hazard though. (PG = Propylene glycol, VG = Vegetable glycerine)
