Dr. John Michael Lonergan spent time in prison in Ohio for tax evasion, mail fraud, and healthcare fraud in Ohio and lost his license to practice medicine in 2005. But the forgiving people of Oklahoma decided in 2012 to let him practice in their state ‘under state supervision’ and in March 2013, the state medical board released him from the supervision and he was free to do what he wanted.
But now comes this story of people who paid him to get what he called ‘Jesus Shots’ that takes away pain for life! At a mere $300, it seemed like a bargain and many people got them. Because why not? He’s a doctor and must know what he’s doing, right? And with a name like Jesus, it’s got to be good.
What was in those injections? I’m glad that you asked because no one, not even the people in the clinic where he works, seems to know. All they could say is that it contains a ‘mysterious formula’. Maybe the people getting it felt that like Jesus turning water into wine, the Jesus Shot would be transformed inside their bodies into a universal pain killer.
For the sake of the people who got those injections, I sincerely hope that it was a harmless placebo. Then the only thing they would have lost is their money.
Whew. With that headline, I thought that somebody was using a Stand Your Ground Law as an excuse for putting another hole in his body.

My husband and I have taken the “Jesus Shot” and I find it very interesting how quickly people are to react to an article and judge a person based off of others. Have you even been to the clinic in Oklahoma? I know exactly what is in this shot. You are told, shown and given ample opportunity to NOT take it if you don’t want too. My husband has RA and it has helped him tremendously. He is currently NOT taking any medications for his RA after the shot. He feels and acts like he back to his normal self at the age of 30, when he is over 50. I have had 6 neck surgeries and have congenital spinal stenosis. I was due for an injection a week after my shot in November 2016 and I can tell you now, that I still don’t need it. This shot might not work for everyone and we all have different makeups in our bodies. There is no guarantee for how long or for all it could help you with. We are given documentation and statistics and you can see how it has helped people with allergies, chronic pain, energy, etc. You might or might not benefit from this, but my theory is, until you go, see for yourself, and take a chance, you have no room to judge this person. I guarantee you that if you knew the whole story, you will see he was screwed by the government because they wanted to buy this “shot” from Dr. Mike for over 20 million dollars and he did not and will not sell it due to the fact that the government can do what they want with it and change it or charge what they feel is a reasonable fee. I will go back and continue to get these as I need, and so will my husband. It has helped both of us and we have recommended to others to take a chance.
