Today, ICE shot a woman in the face. They have an explanation.
In a post to X, the homeland security department (DHS) insisted the person was a “domestic terrorist” who “weaponized her vehicle” and attempted “to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them”.
The department claimed several ICE officers were hurt, but noted that they are expected to make full recoveries.
“An ICE officer, fearing for his life, the lives of his fellow law enforcement and the safety of the public, fired defensive shots. He used his training and saved his own life and that of his fellow officers,” the DHS post said.
That’s their story. But…we have video of the event. Watch closely. Look for an attempt to kill officers, rather than get away. Look for ICE officers being hurt. Explain how someone trying to get away from the scene is threatening the lives of the officers. Tell me what “defensive shots” against an unarmed driver are.
The mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, had a few words for ICE.
Frey even issued an emphatic statement to ICE directly: “I do have a message for our community for our city and I do have a message for ICE. To ICE, get the fuck out of Minneapolis. We do not want you here. Your stated reason for being in this city is to create some kind of safety and you are doing exactly the opposite. People are being hurt. Families are being ripped apart. Longterm Minneapolis residents that have contributed so greatly to our city, to our culture, to our economy are being terrorized and now, somebody is dead.
Continued to address ICE, Frey said: “That’s on you. It’s also on you to leave. It’s on you to make sure that further damage, further loss of life and injury, is not done.”
The mayor also noted that DHS is “trying to spin this as an action of self defense. Having seen the video myself, I wanna tell everybody directly, that is bullshit.”
Yeah. GET THE FUCK OUT OF MINNEAPOLIS, THE STATE, AND THE ENTIRE GODDAMN COUNTRY.
In further accounts, she was shot in front of her wife as they were trying to record the ICE agents.
They always lie about their murders.
They did the same thing to the woman they shot 5 times in Chicago.
It came out in the investigation and she wasn’t charged with anything except getting in the way of 5 bullets. (This is sarcasm.)

Portland Avenue is a major one way surface street, as is 34th Street. This intersection is very busy, and trying to turn around is hairy even without being surrounded by the Istapo agents. It’s populated by the same people who suffered through the 3 days of out state maga criminals fire bombing / shattering windows of local businesses and destruction surrounding the George Floyd protests. The last time i looked murder is a criminal offense against state law. Has the perpetrator and his accomplices been arrested by the state police and have murder and accessory to murder charges been laid. I’m sure the murderers would get a fair trial in front of their victims peers.

Last time a Government official murdered a citizen named George Floyd, we had a bunch of out of state extremists come here and do things like burning down police stations and local businesses. Governor Waltz is not a shitbag for immediately calling out the National Guard before the ghouls arrive to create chaos at the already ongoing protests.

I am also a local. If you were at the riots you should already be aware that the residents weren’t the people who were rioting or burning the police station down.
They did loot target, but it was not violent.

It gets worse…it turns out the woman was one of the local legal observers reporting on ICE activities. It sure looks like ICE killed her because she was monitoring their activity.

I was also there. There were plenty of local people who peacefully, legally protested and then were tear-gassed by the MPD (I saw it- I was there!) There were local people who looted and rioted- I also saw it. There were violent “local”* police. There were also out-of-state and out-of-city malcontents who saw an excellent time to make a tough situation worse. There were also the state guard that shot tear gas at people on their porch, where they were legally allowed to be until the coward Frey re-wrote the rules trying to protect people.
It’s not a propaganda lie to say there were violent people here. There were. There were also way more people who were just trying to do the right thing.
*I say “Local” in air quotes because most MPD don’t even live in the first ring suburbs. Chickenshit Bob Kroll lived in Hugo, for fuck’s sake.

Governor Walz is activating the MN National Guard specifically to protect citizens from ICE. It is a smart move, since it preempts the rotting orange and his pet puppy killer from using them.
