I am not so sure that it wouldn’t work in real life. When I first got my contacts, my neighbor (that I used to see daily in the Pre-Covid times) didn’t recognize me. So both Spider Rider dude and Superman aren’t that wrong…

Also, wouldn’t being able to sense the Evil Cat’s presence be helpful in avoiding her nefarious plans for you?

All these years I didn’t see it. This spider-man thing had the answers all along. Everyone thinks your conversion from cephalopods to arachnids was voluntary. It wasn’t was it! That insidious venom got to you, too! So, what does the cat think of its dinner?

So what happens if you get bitten by a radioactive cat?

    Probably chaos.

Num num cat laps like an Uzbeki Squirrel Nut Zipper
in a cavalcade of beggars, sin, and wine.

I think normally horses wear that kind of mask to protect them from further bug bites in the face.

Hey, perhaps Santa’s reindeer can fly because they were parasitized by radioactive reindeer warble flies (Hypoderma tarandi) created by Russian nuclear experiments in the Arctic. Rudolph just happens to have the red glowing boil located on his nose, which is aesthetically more awkward.
