    The Covid-19 virus does have some help fixing stupid.
    In fact, most of its helpers are antivaxxer humans.

    Consumed by conspiracy theories claiming that doctors are preventing unvaccinated patients from receiving miracle cures or are even killing them on purpose, some people in anti-vaccine and pro-ivermectin Facebook groups are telling those with Covid-19 to stay away from hospitals and instead try increasingly dangerous at-home treatments, according to posts seen by NBC News over the past few weeks.

    And it’s something that some doctors say they’re seeing manifest in their hospitals as they have filled up because of the most recent delta variant wave. (with 95% unvaccinated).

    Those concerns echo various local reports about growing threats and violence directed toward medical professionals. In Branson, Missouri, a medical center recently introduced panic buttons on employee badges because of a spike in assaults. Violence and threats against medical professionals have recently been reported in Massachusetts, Texas, Georgia and Idaho.

    Violence and threats of violence against health care workers have been happening for months and seem to be getting worse.
    If your delusional fantasy world says the Covid-19 virus doesn’t exist, then it is hard to deal with being in a hospital, very sick, weak, having trouble breathing, surrounded by people in full PPE, and in real danger of dying. A lot of the patients panic right before they end up on a ventilator.

    I don’t know how well this antivaxxer movement to get your relatives and friends out of the ICU is working though. I know it has been tried already. A patient in a coma on a ventilator isn’t going to get very far.

    What does work is not going to the hospital at all. They do this often.
    In my local area, from time to time, most of the Covid-19 virus deaths happened to people…at home.

    Reminds me of a one man sketch by Lennie Henry ,he plays an headmaster who is having trouble
    controlling his pupils .
    Some of them hacked into the US nuclear weapons system ( or something like that ) .
    He goes on to say ,”As I remarked to the US General who came to the school to explain to the pupils
    what a silly thing they did ,You can’t stop children being children “.

    “To which he replied ,yes you can ,and it will only take four minutes “.

    Is he still working, BTW? I think he must belong to a vulnerable age group. I hope be is vaxxed up.

    I saw that article just before I saw your post (which saved me from doing so). Silver lining…anyone like that that gets sprung from a hospital frees up a bed for someone who isn’t terminally stupid. Not much of a “silver lining”, but it’s what we’ve got and I’ll take it.

    @Raven It’s not just hospital staff that are being assaulted.

    “Right at the beginning, the suspect was very angry, very aggressive, he asked the nurse why she vaccinated his wife without approval, without his consent,” Sherbrooke Police spokesperson Martin Carrier told CNN. “And he punched her right in the face multiple times so the nurse didn’t have the time to defend or explain herself … and she fell to the ground and the suspect left running out of the drugstore.”

    Problem is, it also “fixes” kids under 12 and the unlucky bastards with a breakthrough infection and presents ideal breeding ground for a vaccine resistant variety.
