No COVID-19 detected!
COVID-19/SARS-CoV, PCR
Undetected
SARS-CoV-2 RNA absent. This result does not rule out
COVID-19 in the patient, as the sensitivity of the test
depends on the timing of the specimen collection and
quality of the specimen. Result should be correlated with
patient’s history and clinical presentation.
I have been a very good boy about masking up and avoiding people, and I will continue to do so.

Relieved to hear that. Hope you feel better soon.

Huge relief! May you heal up quickly from not Covid.

Thank goodness. I would have been pretty scared in your shoes. Glad to see you soldier on and glad you are certified negative. Damn I hope we can look back on this a year from now with a collective sigh of relief if still standing though horrific reflection for the many still to be lost. Ughh!!!
Should expand my mask collection and get more stylish. Remember I used to be a rabid Brady basher? Not anymore. He replaced Infamous Jameis who I felt conflicted about and win or lose Brady keeps me glued to the screen.
Glad I lived to see Brady start for Bucs. Seriously months ago I wondered if I would live that long or if pro football would be a thing. Now I’m in the Brady Bunch cult. Need to get a Tom Brady cultist mask.
Oh I still hate the Patriots.

Glad to hear it’s not Covid. If you haven’t done so, get flu shot. I got mine last week. It’s gong to be a tough winter.

Glad you’re OK. MN is doing mediocre bad like a lot of the country. Here in NY, which had such a bad time early but now has rates like Europe, I’ve been watching Red states gradually moving ahead of NY in the accumulated case counts versus population. From 1st, NY is now 14th, with the latest to pass us being North Dakota; what should have been the perfect state for social distancing. North Dakota is doing 10 times worse the NY, infecting a 1 in 300 people every week.

It would be better if this caveat weren’t present:
“This result does not rule out COVID-19 in the patient”

Whew! For a while there I thought I was gonna lose my favorite atheist.

John @13: It’s called arse-covering. Like when I had my prostate biopsy and the doctor said the results were negative, but cancer couldn’t be ruled out. I believe the correct professional response is “fuck you too, sunshine”.
nomdeplume says
“arse-covering” perhaps an unfortunate term in context…

You should totally try the saltwater gargle, though. Helps.

BTW “glycans in spike protein of sars-cov-2 play active role in infection”… which is very useful for those designing medicines or vaccines.

So glad to hear it, I was worried for you. Mary and your kids must be so relieved too. Yes, get your flu shot soon. We just got ours. No doubt your spiders are thrilled too, as they will be fed and do not have to move.

Glad you didn’t have Covid ,hope you get over whatever it is soon .I didn’t hear anything about the Covid test i had on Friday .
So i had my op yesterday ,i am now very sore in one of the tenderest body parts known to man ,and sometimes to woman .
One good thing about it ,i have come up with a new insult for boris johnson ,as in .
The bit of skin they removed from my willie would make a better PM than boris johnson .

The welcome i got from my cats when i got home this morning ,a very dead mouse in the hall way ,they were locked in overnight ,so i think they must have stuck their paws under the space at the bottom of the bookcase in the hallway and brought it out .The little bastards are forever bringing in live mice and letting them go ,if i see it happening i put down a humane live catch trap to try and catch it .
