I hope so.
Ben Shapiro got his start in right-wing media by justifying Trayvon Martin’s death — from there he’s gone on to make countless Islamophobic, transphobic, xenophobic, and all-around hateful remarks. Here’s how the child violin prodigy became a conservative darling 🎙 @JoeMande pic.twitter.com/D5iaaGoGvH

All he has as a talent is the ability to talk really fast without thinking.

All populists do is attack, they have no cohesive plan for society beyond “fight those I say are bad people”.
I half expect this crowd to do the “blood libel” thing, if they thought they could get away with it.
.
BTW Anyone who is into serious criticism of islamic theology knows there is a huuge gap between imams (who know about the quranic self-contradictions and conceal it) and ordinary muslims (who just want to go on with their lives, and are unaware of the deceit of the imams) . The idea of the few muslims being an existential threat to USA is as rubbish as creationism.

Well I had succeeded in ignoring him altogether, but that became impossible recently when the web went bonkers over his “deconstruction” of a Cardi B video. I probably would never had watched that video otherwise, but the stirring mood it created in me was destroyed by Ben Shapiro’s squeaky helium voice rendering the lyrics to “Wet Ass P-word”. His pondering that the song was “describing a serious gynecological condition”…Wait what?
The web reaction to Shapiro’s reaction to “WAP” gave me a good laugh. People listen to this guy? His voice is nails on a chalkboard. We don’t even need to get as far as the toxic ideology.

The Behind The Bastards- podcast folks have been doing readings from Ben Shapiro’s novel – which, I’d say is John Ringo level bad.

After he claimed that his doctor wife had told him that a wet pussy means the lady in question is having a medical problem, he doubled down and claimed he’s totally not concerned by people snickering at this because he and his wife know there’s more important things in a marriage than sexual satisfaction.
I’ll h never get the category of dudes publicly declaring they’re bad in bed.

For a guy that said “facts don’t care about feelings” he sure starts a lot of arguments with “I believe” and “I think”.

I thought he was mainly famous for “destroying” college kids who have even slightly-moderate views on social justice. He’s supposed to be so smart!
But I mainly remember him from a video in which he was explaining that, even if climate change was happening, it wouldn’t be bad. He asked the audience “If ocean levels rose, don’t you think that people whose houses were in danger of flooding would just sell them, and move?”
The audience seemed to accept that idea, but the maker of the video shouted “Sell them to who? Aquaman?”
I laughed until I cried.

Yeah, bamboozling unprepared college students isn’t really that impressing in the long run.
