A priest in Brazil declared that fat women don’t get to go to heaven, so this woman made the best possible response.
En Portugal un cura dijo que "las gordas no van al cielo" y una mujer enfureció y lo aventó del escenario 😱🇵🇹 pic.twitter.com/OyMGRfh1B8

He looks so surprised. I’ve been watching this on repeat for the last ten minutes. Gosto muito dela.

They should erect a 100-foot-tall statue of her. Looming over the Redeemer statue.
gijoel says
She should have milkshaked him. Still it’s a thumbs up from me.
andyo says
lmao at the best response: “Pero los curas sí van al suelo.”
blf says
Did this happen in Portugal, as the tweeting says, or in Brazil, as poopyhead says?
Reginald Selkirk says
In Brazil. Also, legitimate coverage makes no mention of the “fat women” line, so it is possible someone fell for a joke.

blf says
Actually, what is the faeriebotherer saying? I’ve read claims (mostly in translation) that, at least at the time of the video, the faeriebotherer wasn’t going on about weight.
andyo says
Apparently the motive wasn’t that though, the woman said it was between her and the priest.

davidnangle says
World class “laying on of hands” there, though.
nomadiq says
I mean, according to their sick perverted religion, this priest did threaten her with extreme violence – on a level that can be only described as cosmic. Isn’t pushing him off a stage minor compared to what he did to her?
PaulBC says
Pretty sure that’s Sebastian Gorka in the chair on the left. Can anyone prove me wrong?
just john says
As Mr. Berra informed us, fat women have apocalyptic powers.
Once they sing, IT’S OVER.
Chris Capoccia says
it’s not about anyone insulting fat people. it’s about a mentally unstable woman assaulting a priest and then other people on twitter turning it into a joke about fat people
davidc1 says
Almost as funny as these 4 god botherers dropping the craven image .
The above clip was the first thing i saw on this site.

I was hoping for a face-full of communion wine.

That man could have been seriously injured or killed.
unclefrogy says
what a thing to do to someone in authority that is terribly disrespectful, it not as if priests are ever disrespectful of others or anything like that.

More violent than a milkshake attack, but I enjoyed every second of it. Too bad America’s congresswomen can’t get close enough to President Trump to do the same.
Lofty says
Stinky:
Could have, sure. But then the world would have had one less dangerous bigot who could cause vulnerable people to commit suicide.
Rob Grigjanis says
Lofty @18: What makes the priest a dangerous bigot? That someone on Twitter said that he said “fat women don’t go to heaven”?
I think it’s an example of people falling for something they want to believe.
John Morales says
One aspect not heretofore noted is that the person perpetrating the deed will face legal consequences.
(Something a cowardly person would avoid)
bcwebb says
The fat women comment seems apocryphal (har) but Rossi is an old-religion conservative and has preached that being gay will soon be called a mental illness again and that gay marriage and any sex between men is wrong.
As usual Lesbians aren’t taken seriously – a nun thing I guess.
The woman may have mental problems and Rossi has declined to press charges.
anchor says
Now he can take solace in however he chooses to interpret, “God works in mysterious ways”, whatever the circumstances.
John Morales says
bcwebb @21,
Interesting. Kudos to Rossi, if so.
