    So this is a colony creature. But the important question is, is this a herbivore or a carnivore?
    And can penguins and badgers be incorporated into the colony organism, until it acheves Borg-hood?

    And can the organism telepathically connect different individuals, like the insectoids in Enders’ Game? Can it metabolise alien stereo-isomers? Hibernatefor centuries? We have a possible Alien sequel that might actually be good!

    Hmm… if we already can create algorithms that detect gerrymandering, can we please create algortithms that detect mansplaining (for instance) and interrupts the discussion using a big foghorn?
    It should have reaction times as fast as those clever devices that commence braking the car when an obstacle (for instance, a kid) moves into the path of the vehicle.

    If the speaker ignores the foghorn, it is time to go all “HAL9000”. Or launch jellyfish.
