Warren does not get it. Transparency is for the Democrats. The Republicans are so squeaky-clean that it is unnecessary for them to reveal anything.
In fact, the very suggestion that Trump might have done something unetchical us Unpatriotic, thus proving FOX news is right in keeping an eye on those multi-cultural, Christ-hating flag-burning libruls.

Normally today would be tax day, but this year it’s observed on the 18th, due to weekends and a holiday. (No, not Easter — Emancipation Day!)

interesting. I mistakenly thought only Massachusetts moved tax day to 18th as we are the only state to honor Patriot’s Day (the day following Revere’s iconic horse ride, and the “Rebellion” actually began). Mass. post offices were all closed on Pat’s Day.
My mistake used to be true during my early “real world” life, nice to hear Emancipation Day is also being honored.
So I will celebrate by Marching to demand 45 actaully show us his tax returns more than a single top page of one from 20 years ago. What is he hiding? Why refuse to show us how truly wealthy he is to lord it over all us underlings? If he thinks that will alienate his “true fans”, uh I don’t get it. He has always made it very clear in every speech that he is super wealthy and can dispense with the paltry salary we offer POTUS, so show us the numbers, numbers, not just promises using ‘words”. Let’s see the forms.

re TaxDay:
gak, ugh. I dislike taxes also. I must be remembered though that taxes are (used to be ) fees for services rendered by the structure We The People instituted, to maintain the infrastructure and protections that make it possible for us to be productive and not just scrabbling for personal survival. Seems the wealthy have absorbed the system as a way to grab money from the ethical people to enrich themselves. Even before 45 the wealthy have been Gerry rigging the tax code to minimize their payment while maximizing the demand on the less wealthy. 45 has made it far more obvious as he drains tax dollars into his pockets by his weekly weekends at his own resort, which our tax dollars are paying for.
The pirpose of Tax MArch is to state that the tax code needs to be realigned to its valid purpose. To pay for protection and not just line the pockets of the wealthy.

Patrots’ Day is also celebrated in Maine (which was part of Massachusetts at the time). Emancipation Day is celebrated only in DC in April (usually April 16, but that’s a Sunday this year).
The music in the Warren video is strangely incongruous. It totally works.

Well, I got my taxes done today, getting back $1k, as I drop one deduction that I’m able to take in withholding.
I figure that my rich, but not exceptionally bright Uncle Sam needed that money for the year far more than I did. Although, I did forget about the filing exception. I guess I was late for work for no good reason.
As for North Korea, at least they have some adult leadership there.
Rumblings of a small evacuation from the capitol, no anticipated nuclear testing, only a parade that was scheduled, with artillery in the parade.

The best thing about Tax Day is that the whole filing rigmarole is, for most Americans, utterly unnecessary. The IRS can work out how much you should pay. In most other countries, their tax office provides free online filing software that fills everything out for you and all you have to do is check they didn’t miss anything. This doesn’t happen because Intuit pays off politicians and Grover Norquist considers any simplification of the tax process a tax hike in waiting.

I swear, Grover Norquist is the worst Libertarian since he doesn’t actually want any really Libertarian policies implemented. Not that I think Libertarians are right, I just think people should label themselves accurately.

On the other hand, this is the first time I’ve seen Elizabeth Warren and it was an impressive speech.
