Oglaf’s take would be much heavier on the biological component of science, so I would too.
Slithey probably wouldn’t be able to use it on his sign, though.

I’ve been looking at Foglio’s art for a long time… I own his “Crate Warehouse” piece. It’s a long shot of an aisle of a warehouse lined with crates, with a new one being puched in, saying, “Hi! I’m the Ark of the Convenant. Who are you?” Various replies are “I ban de Hammer of Thor”, “Antigravity, here”, “I’m the car engine that runs on water”.

It’s cute, but I’m not sure there isn’t something slightly condescending about it. Also, it is rather blatantly derivative of Diego Rivera’s mural for Rockefeller Center, Man At The Crossroads, which D-Rock immediately destroyed (though its recreation still lives at El Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City).
Petal to the Medalsays
Somewhat reminiscent of Rick Griffin’s work, but less surrealistic.

Can’t wait for the T-shirt to come out.
I already have the one that shows Agatha holding up a bubbling flask, with the logo: IT IS A GLORIOUS DAY… FOR SCIENCE!

So long as it’s a protest sign and not a profitable item, go for it!

I was a fan of Foglio’s work back whrn it was in Dragon Magazine when I was in high school. Girl Genius is good stuff, too!
I’d like to see Trudi at Oglaf’s take on a science poster. Because.

Thanks to Girl Genius and other art by the author, I have heard large breasts referred to as Foglios.

I replied with Thanks and it will happen, as an addition to my sign, not the bulk of the sign. Here goes…
