I also think that longish hair in a garage/metal workshop is perhaps not a very bright idea, but it can be fixed by wearing it in a proper tail or bun. Which you would not do for a photo of course. So yes I can sort of see why Myers Sr. would have objected.
I bet he would not have been a great fan of the general mess in that garage either (rags on the floor and such).
Those are fabulous, I look forward to showing those to Mister, an industrial mechanic with long hair.

A lot of mechanics have long hair. Lots of gorgeous hair in that field. Braids tend to be popular when working, along with ponytails. (Da husband does a standard ponytail).
