I think that FtB really needs to get a page like the old Sb “last 24 hours”. The newcomers have a low spot on the main page, they’re almost invisible.
Yay! I just discovered Natalie a few weeks ago; she writes great stuff.
I would suggest juggling the banners on the intro page with each load, but most of my navigation is from the sidebar, especially the recent posts window.
Noooobs, or newbies? If noobs, then I will give them the comfy pillows to make them soft and weak. If newbies, I will greet them warmly, and offer them grog.
