“I want to be one with the tiger”
Said the man, of his dangerous feat;
The tiger had similar wishes, but knew
That the truth is, you are what you eat.
So it seems David Villalobos was not trying to commit suicide, when he jumped into the tiger exhibit at the Bronx Zoo. He just “wanted to be one with the tiger“, he says.
David Villalobos also claimed that despite his serious injuries, he was able to pet the tiger before zookeepers came to his rescue, said New York Police Department spokesman Paul Browne.
So I’m guessing it was all worth it.

Because wild animals are friendly and spiritual, and really just want to give us rides.

One should always keep in mind a basic law of cat behavior: If they are bigger than you, they will try to eat you.
Cuttlefish says
Or, machintelligence, “become one with” you. Same difference.
I am about to become one with some amazing chipotle bison burgers with fresh salsa.

…at the end of the ride, the lady was inside, and the smile on the face of the tiger.

I’m thinking that beer had to be involved.
Cuttlefish says
I was thinking religion had to be involved (remember the last guy, who jumped into the lion enclosure with a bible to preach to the beasts–google; there is video), but so far it does not seem to be the case.
trucreep says
He was still able to pet the tiger.
That is fucked up!!!!!!!

We’ll next hear about him walking down the middle lane of the freeway. Ten to one he’s dead before he’s fifty.
