My partner and I went on a 2-week Anna Purna trek last November. Wonderful experience and we got to know our guide fairly well. He graciously invited us to a family wedding, at which we were warmly accepted and felt at home. We have emailed him to check in and haven’t heard back. Communications are near impossible, i have read. We are watching with worry for everyone there and for new friends.
