Willing to work for scraps to better our beautiful country
A thing I have seen.
Edited to add: it’s not really by Ray Comfort; it’s a fake. The same kind of fake as the ones I’ve been objecting to when they’re attributed to Richard Dawkins or Jessica Valenti lately.
It doesn’t sound like Comfort. Sadly I’ve read enough of his articles to detect that. The man has said some outrageously assailable things over the years–seems like a poor choice to circulate counterfeit garbage when there is so much of the real thing to choose from.
I am use to Ray saying execrable things, but definitely not in this kind of vein.

There seems to be a lot of pernicious bullshit masquerading as ‘satire’ lately.

One giveaway is that, in the last sentence, the writer refers to Christ as “he” rather than “He.” No way Comfort (or any other whack-job conservative Christian) would ever do that. (Quite possibly he’d capitalize “Judgment” and “Day” in that sentence, too.)
All in all, it’s a rather poor forgery.

Ray doesn’t need anybody’s help to say stupid shit. Whoever did this, just stop. It’s not helping.

I do not understand why anyone would need to fake a Ray Comfort quote.

Comfort claims it’s a hoax. I think i’m inclined to believe him, just this once.

Yup it’s fake.

HAS to be Poe. Too over the top even for Comfort. He embarrasses himself adequately with bananas, thank you very much.
