Ah, but don’t you see…all those babies are in heaven now. Instead of growing up to be sinners destined for hell.
So the nuns (and their toadies) who murdered them did them a favor. You should be thanking those nuns.
/end sarcasm (but fully expecting at least one cat-lick apologist to use that exact line of reasoning).
The Sisters not only saved those babies’ souls, but by enforcing the prohibition on abortion, made sure that the kids would earn points in heaven by dying miserably of malnutrition and an assortment of infectious diseases. The Cult of the Cross is all about suffering. That’s how you earn your pie in the sky when you die.
There will be no justice for those children and their mothers. A paltry beginning would be to identify the Catholic orders that ran the Homes and the Magdaline laundries, and declare them to be criminal organizations. That would allow confiscation of their real estate holdings and the arraignment of any surviving Sisters who actually perpetrated the atrocities on charges ranging from embezzlement of public funds (that had been appropriated to feed the victims) to human trafficking and mass murder.
Except they don’t even get pie in the sky because they were never baptized. That’s why they were tossed into a pit instead of being buried in consecrated ground.
It would be nice to have a few more shots of the demonstration from different angles. It’s a commonplace tactic to take a picture from the angle that makes it look like the most people. Regardless, I’m glad people are turning out for a demonstration.
Why don’t we just do what has to be done, already? Criminalize the Catholic Church. Seize their property. Empty their secret archives. If that were done, we’d immediately see that it was thousands of times worse than we could possibly have imagined.
Just how much are we supposedly to let these assholes to get away with??
Well the reasons for that are pretty obvious.
On the other hand some of their archives have in fact been seized. Cops in Germany seized a whole bunch two or three years ago.
This is right out of the Mother Teresa playbook:

To paraphrase, suffering is a good thing as long as it’s happening to someone else.
