Speaking of the Duggars, Jim Bob went to the values-voters summit and told the gang that the US is like Nazi Germany because abortion.
Jim Bob Duggar spent most of his speech at the Values Voter Summit imploring attendees to run for office, just like he did, in order to advance social conservative causes like an “army.”
Duggar ended the address by retelling a story about a time when Mike Huckabee and his daughter visited a concentration camp, which he used to compare the current state of the US to Nazi Germany.
“As they were walking out of that concentration camp, he said little Sarah looked up at him and she said, ‘Daddy why didn’t somebody do something?’ You know what, that’s where we are at in our nation,” Duggar said. “Do we want our children, when we’re going to tell them about how great America was, they’re going to look at you and say, ‘Why didn’t somebody do something?’”
Then a few days later he clarified what he meant.
Duggar has continued speaking the truth this week while campaigning for Republican and potential Virginia Governor Ken Cuccinelli II. As he’s had more opportunities to share his thoughts with the world, one might think Duggar had realized that perhaps he went a little far with his comparison of liberal Americans to Nazis. Unfortunately, as the Daily Press reports, Tuesday was not that day. Instead, it was the day for Duggar to specify that the true Nazis are pro-choice Americans:
“Let me clarify,” he said.
“We have since 1973 (when Roe v. Wade was decided) had 55 million abortions, so what we have going on is a baby holocaust,” Duggar said.
No, because it’s not “babies”; it’s pregnancies. It’s not a holocaust when people decide not to conceive, either. A decision not to have a child is not a holocaust of the children who would have been born if no one had decided not to conceive them.

And if any of those things were killings, then pretty much every penis-equipped person who has masturbated with anything like the usual frequency has killed Stalinesque levels of people. And Stalin would become a SUPERDOUBLESTALIN!

If zygotes and blastulas are persons then God is the biggest abortionist as he deems that many blastulas will not implant.
The Catholics are accessories. NFP is a blastula killer. They say you can’t fuck until after peak fertility. Peak fertility is a few days BEFORE ovulation. Exactly the time that many women report their sex drive is high. Big FSH peak then and a man sometimes has has a similar hormone spike from pheremones and absorbed sweat.
So they’re primed to screw just when the ovum is too far down the tube to implant in the uterine wall. This is blastula murder!
A woman might have two or three abortions in a lifetime. An NFP couple might kill a blastula seven times a year.
And about the Duggars. Michelle stopped breastfeeding every child at six months in order to get the maximum uterine restoring effects and none of the ovulation suppressing effects. While I do not think anyone should rely on breastfeeding as birth control, it can be birth curtailment. It worked for my dad’s family. My grandma only had eleven kids between ages 17-41, not nineteen kids. If the Duggars truly were following “God’s plan” Michelle would have nursed as long as she wanted to. The six month cutoff was Jim Bob’s idea to get the reproductive benefit of lactation in restoring the uterus quickly while avoiding the “risk” of lactation suppressing ovulation.
Jim Bob Duggar is a piece of shit.

I find it breathtakingly offensive to equate the termination of a pregnancy with the murder of a living, feeling, thinking human being. This “abortion = holocaust” is doubly so,because it cheapens and belittles one of the greatest catastrophies suffered as well as committed by humanity.
JimBob and his fellow travellers, in viewing their own children as tools/weapons for their own/Skydaddys use (quiverful – it’s right in the name) are more Nazi-esque than I would be if I had an abortion every month.

Yeah, abortions are just like Nazis, which is why Nazis made abortions a capital offense, because they loved abortions so much. Or something.

I hope Jim Boob keeps campaigning for Republican causes/candidates. He is the kiss of death for all of them.

I cannot be impressed by the anti-abortion stance of a man whose wife is almost killed by her 19th pregnancy.

The absurdity of the “abortion=Holocaust” argument was really brought home to me when I saw a documentary on Dr. Henry Morgentaler which included footage of him returning to visit Auschwitz. The contrast between his obvious anguish there and the gentle courageous compassionate expression of his commitment to the rights of women to control their own bodies couldn’t be more striking.
The whole idea is a grievous insult to those who, like Morgentaler, knew the real horror of the Holocaust.

An other overlooked assumption is that these children would have been born in addition of the existing ones, which is not necessarily true. A woman forced to carry a pregnancy to term may end up with overall less children than if she’d had an abortion. Not to speak of medical conditions where an abortion is necessary to preserve the woman’s fertility…
