It looks like Friday the 17th will be the best day to have a little Blag Hag Seattle meetup for your schedules and for mine. Gah, change of plans, sorry! Make that Sunday the 19th. Here are the details:
Sunday, September 19th
6:30 pm until whenever
Seamonster Lounge
2202 N 45th St (in Wallingford)
I already found the place while wandering around Wallingford, so I know I won’t get lost, yay! Feel free to show up later if you want.
If you’re pretty sure you’re coming, please let me know and indicate if you’re bringing anyone else. Just need to know how many chairs to save. Can’t wait to see you guys!

I’m going to a show in Bellingham later that night, but I will try to stop in right at 6:30 and say hello. I will have one or two people with me, but I don’t let them sit down so don’t worry about chairs.
Seattle_JC says
Have you found the Blue Star Café in Wallingford yet? It is next to Archie McPhee’s. The Seattle Atheists Meetup Group meets every 3rd Thursday, the Seattle Skeptics every 3rd Tuesday.

I may come with a friend who’s never been to Seattle, we’re trying to figure out if we can do it… do you guys know of a cheap place where we could stay for the night? I’ve been looking online, but the rates are a little too high :/
Jen says
Not yet, but I’ll theoretically be there on Thursday :)
Three Ninjas says
I don’t have first hand experience of this place, but I’ve passed it several times: http://www.greentortoise.net/

The Seamonster is freakin cool. Did you find the NES? Sweet. They tend to have really cool music in there too. They had a band in there that the bartender was a member of, and he’d pick up a wireless mic and sing while making drinks. I’d yell about it being pretentious if it wasn’t so dang cool.
LS says
I’ll be coming over right after work, then, so I may be a little late. Since you’ve been there, Jen, what’s parking like?
LS says
Parking looks pretty scarce, actually.Alright guys, I’m officially calling the spot right in front of the red car that is phase shifting out of reality:http://maps.google.com/maps?f=…Got it? So nobody take that spot.
Jen says
Your best bet is probably to find a spot on one of the residential streets between 50th and 45th
Jinian says
What? NES? I will be there at like 4:30!
Lula says
Hi! A friend of mine linked me to this and I would love to come to the meetup! So I guess I’m just creeping out of the woodwork to say welcome to Seattle and to RSVP~
Brian Burg says
See you there. @brrian
denature says
Bummer, I think the newish looking building used to be a parking lot. No, I don’t know why I felt the need to share this.
Siobhan says
Following Lula’s footsteps…Welcome to the neighborhood! I’m hoping to stop by and say hi, +1
Carla says
We’re gonna stop in for a quick Howdy-doo. I guess that phrase alone let’s you know our age range. c&m
