This cartoon just makes me laugh out loud, very loud. My wife doesn't seem to find it as funny as I do. But it makes me laugh because I seem myself in the cartoon listening to my parents. Dad:they did the scan and didn't find any thing, I just praise god for healing the problem that they never found.

More often than hearing what beliefs I have about God, as an Atheist, is how I shouldn’t worship the Devil, because you know… if you don’t believe in God, then you must believe in the Devil. o.OTrying to explain that I don’t believe in the Devil is often harder than trying to explain that I don’t believe in God. O.o
I know I’m opening myself up to a slew of hateful and condescending posts to follow, but I am a Christian.I guess what I don’t understand about some atheists is how superior in intellect they consider themselves to be. To the point of ridiculing people just because they don’t believe (or do in this case) like you. As a true Christian, I not only desire to treat others as equals, but am commanded to because of my belief in God. The things that athiests believe are weaknesses in us, we see as strengths. And because we believe in something you claim does not exist, that automatically opens us up to ridicule? You know the difference, and most likely have heard parts of, if not the entirety of the Gospel. If not, as an individual (generally) you’re arguing a point that you know little or nothing about. Once you’re familiar with the teachings of Jesus the decision is yours, not mine to force on you. If you still don’t believe in God, that is your right as a person. Consequently, I don’t feel that I’m superior to atheists in any way. And a true Christian would feel the same way. We wouldn’t invade your blog with condescending comments aimed at your specific group. Why some atheists find it necessary to do so to us is beyond my comprehension. It’s not just the atheists posts here where we experience that. It’s in practically every forum available. Even on religious sites. Why do you feel it’s necessary to flaunt your decision? Admittedly, there are numerous facets of so called Christians that are anything but. Religious zealots, who in my opinion are interpreting what they read in the Bible incorrectly. But I don’t feel superior to them either. Maybe some will perceive this as a waste of mine or their time, but you must understand that my point is to communicate the unfairness of the way you treat us. Ok, let the ridicule begin. My lack of superiority is not equal to inferiority.
