Just like avalus, I have no clue whatsoever what flower this is. And I also agree that it is beautiful, both with the ice crystals as well when covered with tiny water droplets after they melt.
Those ice crystals are just amazing, excellent shot Avalus! It looks like a calendula.

I’ve never seen a frozen Calendula/marigold. Grandma used to grow them in her flowerbeds during the summer at our summer cottage, mostly in that colour. It’s almost 12 years from her death (at 80, she had kidney cancer, which metastasised widely, for example to her bones, it was only discovered, when her femur broke).
Ahhh, the last flowers and the first frost. I still have some calendula flowering as well

The app PictureThis is an incredible piece of wizardry that identifies plants from photos. It asks you to sign up to use it, but hit the cancel button (top right) and you get access to the stripped down version.
That said, it thinks your third picture is a marigold, so you’ll likely need to take photos from a few different angles to get a correct answer

A beautiful set of photos of a marigold, or a calendula if we are being formal.

Calendula doesn’t grow wild in North America, and does not like my local climate, so I’ve only seen this flower in florist bouquets or on seed packets sold as Pot Marigold/Calendula.
Marigolds here are similar in bloom color, but a completely different species. Tagetes They are common bedding annuals which are easy to grow, have a rather objectionable odor, and are repellent to rabbits and insects.
There are a few others flowering plants that are commonly called marigolds and margarites. All of them are sunny colors, but I suspect there is some old story that explains why Mary is associated with golden flowers.

Thank you all, Calendula seems a good fit! They grew in a flowerfield for the bees and are the last blooms … blooming.
For the admirers of fine ice there will be more :)
@ Ice swimmer: I hope the flower fotos gave you good memories of her and not painful ones.

The good ones. mostly. The marigolds and that shade of orange are from the good part of her life and my best memories with her are also from that time.
