This is the follow-up book to the Spectropia (1864) that I put up last Friday. This week I thought I’d share a bit of what’s between the covers including the directions. I’m afraid it’s all just a parlour trick meant to debunk the notion that ghosts exist. You can click for full size.

I know a few card tricks, but I’ve never done illusions like these. Maybe I’ll practice a few for Halloween.

I am also curious to try these! Much better than card tricks, although I only say that because I’m too lazy to practice those.
And the drawings are almost adorable, like friendly little doodles, not frightening spectres.

I have seen ghosts! And I now have coloured patches in front of my eyes when I close them.
