I’ve been taking up daily walks whenever possible. Because fresh air is good and the outdoors is free and also I have taken up Pokémon Go again. This even means that sometimes the kids will come with me, but most of the time I am alone and take the camera with me.
I usually take the wrong lens.
This time I had the wide angle and the small tele (55-250 mm) and kept changing.

A bit gloomy pictures. Especially those of the creek have a bit of a “horror movie” vibe to them.
We could use som fall rain too. Nothing so far, everything is dry. But we had some serious frost finally, -10 °C overnight.

I recognise the autumn light. I had problems with light from low-hanging sun when I visited the island Harakka about a month ago but I did get some pictures, but haven’t had the time for picking, editing and building some meaningful collection from them.
There’s a face in fairy lace. I love the creek pictures. I think Caine really taught me to appreciate reflections from water.

I love the long tailed tits. That photo would make a beautiful holiday card. I also like the wide angle creek view, but I wouldn’t have been brave enough to dangle my camera over water.
Caine taught me to appreciate droplets of water in photos.

Beautiful autumn photos! I love the long-tailed tit, and that is a very handsome kitty.
My favorites are the pond and the creek, though. I would certainly be looking for life in the water, wondering if there are any late water bugs in there. Knowing me I’d probably even fall in…

I love the cat picture, and the thistle, the promise of a big plant for next summer.

I love the kitty and the spiderweb.
‘Wrong lens’ is my middle name, which is why I almost always carry the superzoom with me. Sure, the sensor is that of a compact camera and it doesn’t shoot RAW, but for most purposes it performs just fine and is a nice lightweight “all-in-one” solution to the wrong lens problem.
