It’s another well captured critter from Avalus, who tells us that this hoverfly was enjoying the cucumbers that his mother had planted. What a pretty bug! I love this shot too, it shows quite nicely that sometimes a deep DOF works wonderfully in a close-up photo. I really like that background!
