American lynx. I liked how the enclosure was styled as an “abandoned farmhouse” with lots of corners and hideouts. The lynx (what’s the plural here anyway?) were still kind enough to pose for a photo shooting.
KITTY! I really love the tufts on the ears. Very difficult to spot in the wild… I know these guys are not wild, but I’m still astonished at these photos, they are great.

Gorgeous photos of a gorgeous animal. The ear tufts are totally adorable.and the white outline around her eyes makes those yellow/green eyes look intense. I think that cats are one of the most beautiful animals there is. When I had cats of my own (I will have cats again, maybe even soon) I used to say they were living art. This cat is definitely art.
Here kitty-kitty. I’m sure I could have it eating off my hand … clean up to the elbow.

Lynx are some of my favourite cats -- the tufted ears are cute, but their best feature are their wide paws, for walking on snow. Just perfect!
Nightjarsays
Lynx are the cutest. I wish our (Iberian lynx) wasn’t as endangered as it is.
Ice Swimmersays
The ear tufts are wonderful. The third and the fourth are my favourite pictures of these.
In Finnish lynx is ilves (cat is kissa). I think this would be kanadanilves (if it’s a Canada lynx).
If two (male) beings are much like each other it can be said (because it rhymes): “Veljekset kuin ilvekset.” (Brothers like two lynxes.)

White eyeliner! Cool cats.

We have had a Canadian lynx mother and three kits in my backyard one summer. We had a bumper crop of rabbits that year, and the four of them would groom and play on the back lawn down by the pond on sunny days. The little ones liked chasing moths and butterflies. Don’t see them as frequently anymore, not as many rabbits, but I’m sure they’re still out there.

We call them lūsis (pl.: lūši).
