Due to drought, there probably will not be any meaningful aftermath this year. The meadows are green, but the grass is not even knee-height. But everything is covered with spider silk this fall, something that I did not notice other years. I tried to take a few shots.

I am in love with that second one. The slightly blurry focus brings out the background blues and the shining parts of the grass and silk, it is beautiful. They all are, really, but that one’s my favourite.

Oh my, the light in the third photograph is gorgeous. It makes the silk just about jump off the page. I like the entire series, though.
