Prompted by Charly’s post “Itsy Bitsy Spider (Not)”, here is a really itsy bitsy spider I found on one of my zinnia flowers. Not bigger than a typical ant, I only spotted it because it is totally not camouflaged.

This is the kind of thing that I would probably spot only after taking pictures of the flower and then processing them on PC.
Baby facehugger, so cute. It will feed itself on tiny flies until it can take on a full grown bee….

Charly, normally I would too, that happens to me frequently. But the white on red contrast and the light were such that the spider popped like a shiny white little thing. Also, I was actively looking for interesting bugs flower by flower.
