It’s a 32° day here with rain expected this evening and boy do we need it. It was supposed to rain all weekend, but we only had a bit of drizzle on Saturday so all the growing things are still thirsty. The heat today will only make that worse so I hope the weatherman has it right this time.
Note: Thanks to kestrel for correctly identifying this plant as False Solomon’s Seal.

I wonder where’s the colder weather in the Northern Hemisphere if you have hot weather and I have hot weather. Hoping for the rain for you!
I was puzzled at first, of what kingdom are the round thingies. They are of the plant kingdom and poisonous, right?

Hmmm… I think that might actually be False Solomon’s Seal? Do the berries eventually turn red, or blue? It seems to be flowering and forming fruit the way that False Solomon’s Seal does. A reference: http://the3foragers.blogspot.com/2010/05/solomons-seal-false-solomons-seal.html

I do not know what it is, but it looks extremely cute.

What Charly said. Never seen anything like that, but I like it.

kestrel,
Thanks! You’re right, it is False Solomon’s Seal. The flowers in the spring were just like those shown in the link you sent. That’s an interesting site, btw. I might just poke around a bit.
