No, I didn’t. I think he used to travel with greylag and domestic geese (Anser anser), but maybe he’s switched not only the gaggle but genus and species.
These are barnacle geese (Branta leucopsis) and Canada geese (Branta canadensis), both seen in this blog multiple times, but rarely in the same picture roughly at an equal distance to the camera.
