I got distracted. Again. Seems my brain has been having a bit of a vacation too, I’ve been quite the space case lately. Anyroad, came upon these um, attachments? Extensions? Falls? (Does anyone else remember falls?) I’d love to have some of these done with my hair, if it ever achieves thickness again. These are from 1840. Click for full size!
I’d like to have the one in the upper right corner on upright my head and the one in the lower right corner on my beard, fastened with a devil heart buckle.
I didn’t think about beards. The one in the lower right corner would make a fantastic beard style! Now to find someone who could actually do these…

On the top row, third from the left… that’s one I’ve done before on my hair. That’s called a rope braid.
There’s this lady on Youtube who has a delightful style to her, who makes videos showing how to do various hair styles. https://www.youtube.com/user/torrinpaige She’s even got one showing how to do a crown braid on yourself, which is not an easy thing to do. I’ve been able to do that one too. Torrin has A LOT of hair, and although I’m tempted to be envious, well, there are some good things about the hair I have (very fine, like baby hair, and thin too) so what can I say. I’ve got what I’ve got. The various styles and braids etc. that Torrin shows are pretty fun to do. It’s also fun to get some cool hair toys to put your hair up with. At least I know the back of my head looks great. :-D
I wish I could have hair like the first one on the top left with just a little braid and cascading locks. I’ve always wanted long hair, but my hair grows soooo slowly that I’ve never been able to grow it past my neck. It’s also thin, fine and limp. I’m really having a bad hair life.
I’ve done a crown braid on myself, but I get the stinking feeling that some of these require more than 2 hands. Well, more than my two hands, anyway. The trouble is, I’d love to try them all. :D
I will forward this to the partner of my best friend. I have very long hair and she loves giving me intricate hairstyles. (I was once voted the most beautiful (bearded) Khaleesi by a group of medival-reenactment friends after her handywork :D)

Yes! :D I would love to see any of these done, really, but 22 is so fab.
