Concurring with Nerd of Redhead. Sweating in the bed is more like a nightmare. Of course, if it’s properly cold in the room (or one has rising fever), thick covers are wonderful.
On the third hand, being in sauna with a fever isn’t very enjoyable (one feels quite weak) and it’s also dangerous.

This is me when I get a certain type of migraine: I feel cold even when I’m not, so the best thing is to pile under a giant stack of woollen blankets, hats and scarves and moan in the dark. It seems to work for me.
