I am so very happy today. This photo is from July 2017, this is the only variety I have in my garden and I was worried that I had lost it to the rodents. There were supposed to be leaves up by now but I couldn’t find any. Turns out they are up, just not exactly where I thought they were, and covered in grass which is why I wasn’t seeing them. Yay!
Its almost impossible to believe that Roman armies used to fight using these.
