Charly you have a real green thumb -- not just the Hippeastrum but the violets too. Just beautiful. I love flowers and grow them in the house but yours are amazing.
“Green thumb” now there’s an expression I had not known. This thumb is my mother’s, she has a collection of african violets and the Hippeastrum is hers also. My grandfather allegedly once said about her that if she stuck a broom in the garden, it would take root and blossom.

The hippeastrum is magnificent.
The African violets/Saintpaulias are also beautiful. I get a bit nostalgic when I see Saintpaulias with the flowers and the fuzzy leaves. My maternal grandma grew them when I was a kid.
The hippeastrum is gorgeous, but I love the violets. They have so many blooms!
