I listened to your latest music selections all in a string, and it was wonderful. The diversity of instruments is amazing, I mean I thought I had half-a-handle on stringed instruments out there, but oh boy, I sure don’t!
I very much enjoyed Rokia Traore’s performance style, but I’ve been spending most of my time with these videos staring at all the accompanying instruments (That dude in Stary Olsa is holding a kokle, that was neat! And the exception Sons of Kemet, because you can’t look away from that footwork.).
Yeah, I’m with you on the instruments -- they capture my attention immediately. There never seems to be an end to instruments I’ve never seen or heard before, infinite creativity.
