Less than 6 weeks to the equinox, you can have some of our share of the sun soon. Thank Dog there’s a dull grey overcast sky here this morning, enough sun is enough sun.
DavidinOzsays
Not too overcast here in the North, Lofty, but I agree there was too much sun last week. A string of days in the 105F-110F range has destroyed a lot of the blooms and I was fortunate to find just these few lotus blooms left. I shot a field of Sunflowers that I labelled “Death” as there is so little bloom left on them.
And, as those of us who live here know, March may be Autumn/Fall according the the calendar, but we can still get scorcher days then.

For a moment there I saw “Scared Lotus” and got confused.
Very beautiful.
Giliell, professional cynic -Ilk- says
I want to wrap myself in these and feel the sunshine.

Giliell:
Me too, so much. I don’t think I’ve ever wanted sun, warmth, and growth as much as I do right now.
kestrel says
Magnificent.
Ditto on the spring and I wish I could see flowers outside right now. *However*. We just got snow, so I am not inclined to complain!
Raucous Indignation says
I saw Lotus and thought, “Which model?”
rq says
Sunshine! What’s that?
I like the effect of cool shade in the first, but the second and third -- I can feel the warmth. Just what I needed.
